Press Release - Columbus Ohio - The Anselmo Project releases new Single for Pride Month

The Anselmo Project, the solo effort of Picasso's Dream keyboardist Anthony S. Anselmo has released the latest Full Moon Single 'Unrequited Love'.

The song is Anselmo's most personal song yet to date, telling the story of his first gay experience at a very young age and the events that took place. Aligned with Pride Month, Anselmo is excited to share this with the world.

"This is probably the most personal thing I have ever penned," says Anselmo. "This is a song I've had for years in the back of my head, as I wanted to write the 'gay' version of Phil Collin's 'Do You Remember?' at some point."

The song features returning on Vocals the amazing Margret Maganzo (aka Maggie Soul Bird) from Zimbabwe. Alongside Anselmo keys, Philppe Pasnard provides Bass, Richard Bradley on Guitar, and Chuck McDowell on Drums.

"Now Unrequited Love! The most beautiful love song I have sang yet (and love songs are not my area of expertise)." says Maganzo. "This one was and is so special to me. The lyrics are original, meaningful, rich, deep and without cliche'. My most favorite part of the song is "I still miss you my love", simple as those words seem. Yet it's mainly in that part were I strongly felt the writer's longing and sadness and that is why as the song ended I felt a need to sing the part in a sort of weepy longing manner. It's a song that sounds like a story and feels like a lover's poem. I still read the lyrics like I would read a story or poem"

The single continues the Full Moon Releases for each month, moving forward to the release of The Anselmo Project's upcoming 3rd Album to be released later this year.
