The Anselmo Project to Release Debut Single from Upcoming Album
The Anselmo Project, the solo endeavor of keyboardist Anthony S. Anselmo, is excited to announce the release of the first single from his forthcoming solo album, this Thursday.
“The Way You Make Me Feel” marks the debut release in a series of singles set to premiere during Full Moon events, inspired by Anselmo’s musical hero, Peter Gabriel.
This Phil Collins-esque pop song introduces a new emotional depth not previously heard from The Anselmo Project. The track features Maggie Soul Bird on vocals, a new addition to the project. Hailing from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Maggie brings a soulful balance to the music that is both fresh and captivating.
“Maggie is absolutely amazing; it was like having your own private Patti LaBelle in your corner,” says Anselmo.
The song also features Till K on guitars, Phillippe Pansard on bass, Chuck McDowell on drums, and Anselmo on keyboards. The lyrics were co-written by Mike JM, and the track was mixed and mastered by Gustavo Madrid.
“This is just the beginning of a series of exciting releases that I can’t wait to share with all our wonderful fans,” said Anselmo, who is also currently working in the studio with Picasso’s Dream on their next album.
Fans can enjoy this dynamic love song on The Anselmo Project’s Bandcamp page starting Thursday, and it will soon be available on all streaming platforms.
